Gold plating may fade if the care instructions are not adhered to. Therefore:

*do not expose gold plated silver to water, perfumes or lotions, this may cause the plating to fade. However gold plated silver may naturally fade over time.

*remove jewellery while in water and avoid spraying perfume or applying creams where your jewellery will have contact.

*avoid extreme temperatures, humidity and sunlight. Any contact with perfumes/ cosmetics and chemicals will cause discolouration to semi precious metals. This is not a fault and can be avoided by caring for your jewellery as detailed above. Please follow these steps to protect your jewellery from damage.

Silver jewellery will naturally tarnish over time. Tarnishing is not a fault and steps can be taken to ensure your jewellery does not tarnish such as:-

*wrapping your pieces in black tissue paper (yes really!)

*using a soft lint free cloth to clean silver, 18kt gold and rose gold vermeil will keep jewellery looking shiny and tarnish free.

*store your purchases in a dark, cool and dry place within an air tight box to help reduce tarnishing, scratching and tangling.

Silver is a bendable, precious metal. Therefore, any pressure applied can cause damage. Consequently I would advise when transporting your jewellery to do so within a box so no external pressures are accidentally applied.

Gemstones should never be worn around hot water, harsh chemicals and cleaners. You can clean most gemstones with a soft, damp cloth after wearing. Very porous stones such as turquoise and emeralds should be cleaned using an untreated, dry, soft cloth only. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean as they can cause scratching.

We use natural gemstones which may contain internal inclusions, adding to the beauty and uniqueness of each individual gem.

Damage caused by general wear and tear is the responsibility of the owner.

We will replace or repair any faulty items bought from this website within 6 months of proof of purchase. Missing crystals/gemstones are not classed as manufacturing faults if outside the 14 day return policy. I

If plating has come off within 6 months of purchase and is not due to general wear and tear, please contact us and we will get your item re-plated for you with no charge.

Tarnishing or discolouration due to chemical contact is not a fault. Please see above care instruction on how to avoid this.
